My favorite quote from Marie Montessori

“All humans of every race and every country have children, and the child can become the focus of universal interest … to create a sphere of action that will enable all mankind to work together and live in peace.” Marie Montessori This is a quote that I live by. As an educator, I want to create an atmosphere where my students can work together " in peace". Free of judgement, chaos, or limitation. I believe that our social views began within a class room. It's like a small society within its self. If they, the children, feel safe to be themselves in the classroom. I believe that they will feel free to be themselves anywhere. Ashley Wilkins-Miller
